Security Consultant and Former Deputy Police Commissioner, Mark Shields, is urging the Government to quickly pass the regulations to enforce the DNA law.

Mr. Shields made the call yesterday while addressing a meeting of the Rotary Club of St. Andrew.

Parliament approved the draft DNA legislation last December.

However, nearly one year later the regulations have not been approved to allow for the law to come into effect.
