Incarcerated drug king pin, Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke. Inset: Angela Jackson, popularly known as Angela Strikers, Coke’s aunt, flatly denying reports of a violent confrontation between her nephew and disgraced music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

A family member of incarcerated Tivoli Gardens strongman, Christopher ‘Dudus’ Coke, has flatly denied reports from US media sources that he inflicted severe injuries on disgraced music mogul Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs during an altercation at the Fort Dix Correctional Centre in New Jersey.

The family member, whose given name is Angela Jackson, but who’s popularly known as ‘Angela Strikers’, says the report is fake news.

The report, which was picked up by numerous media outlets across the world along with online portals on Wednesday, was published by popular US outlet, TMZ.

The statement by ‘Angela Strikers’ is consistent with what Nationwide’s own sources told us just after 7:30 pm on Wednesday evening.

William Mitchell reports.

Angela Strikers moved to clear the air in a brief post on Instagram last evening.

She wrote that the TMZ report regarding her nephew and the music mogul is “completely false and nothing more than fake news”.

The prominent New York based promoter, says her nephew has never met Diddy and they would have no reason to interact as they are housed in different sections of Fort Dix prison, where they’re both serving time.

Fort Dix is the largest federal prison by inmate population in the United States.

Angela Strikers is urging the public to disregard reports from what she calls ‘gossip sites or blogs’ and instead seek verified reports from sources like the US Bureau of Prisons.

TMZ’s extraordinary report was among the top trending stories globally on social media on Wednesday.

Up to news time today, the name Dudus was the number one trending name on X in Jamaica, while Diddy, was number two.

The TMZ report claimed Dudus and Diddy were involved in a jail yard brawl that resulted in Diddy being hospitalised with a serious head injury last Friday.

The brawl reportedly stemmed from an NBC News investigative report claiming Diddy was living in luxury in prison.

According to TMZ, the NBC report led to several sweeps of the prison where contraband was seized from multiple inmates.

TMZ went on to say their sources told them that Dudus’ mobile phone was taken by the authorities, prompting him to confront Diddy for drawing the attention of prison officials.

After the alleged beat down, TMZ said both men were placed in solitary confinement.

But according to ‘Angela Strikers’, the story is false.

Nationwide News spoke to sources close to Dudus on Wednesday evening and were told that he has never even crossed paths with Diddy in the vast Fort Dix facility.

Based on the information from our highly placed sources, we moved to amend our original reporting on the matter.

Dudus was sentenced to 23 years in prison in 2012 on drug trafficking, racketeering and assualt charges. He’s been housed at Fort Dix since 2017.

Checks by Nationwide News reveal he’ll be released in January 2029. The release date has been extended by a year after checks by our news centre earlier this year showed a January 2028 release date.

It’s unclear what caused the extension and our news centre has reached out to the Bureau of Prisons for clarification.

Meanwhile, Diddy is serving a 50 month sentence for transportation to engage in prostitution. He’s set to be released in March 2028.
