Head of the Jamaica Football Federation’s, JFF, technical committee, Rudolph Speid, described Wray and Nephew’s initiative to train 500 primary school coaches per year for the next three years as superb.

Wray and Nephew’s managing director, Jean-Philippe Beyer, made the announcement as part of the company’s $200 million football program at a press conference at the New Kingston Offices, on Thursday.

Speid says this will improve the quality of coaches at the grass-root level.

He says there are also plans to improve the facilities at the JFF technical centre.
