At stumps on day three of the second Test between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, the Sri Lankans toiled to 282 for 5 on a rain interrupted day, to still trail by 83 runs.

Resuming the day on 143 for 2, with captain Dimuth Karunaratne on 70. The Sri Lankans were circumspect in the overs that were possible, to score 139 runs on the day.

Four batters scored half centuries, with Karunaratne top scoring so far with 80. First Test centurion, Angello Matthews will resume on 58 at the start of Day 4.
