A half century from Dhanushka Gunathilleke helped Sri Lanka to a 43 runs win over the West Indies in the second T20 International to level the three match series 1-1 at the Coolidge Cricket Ground, in Antigua, today.
Batting first, the tourist made 160 for 6 off their 20 overs, with Gunathilleke making 56 from 42 balls.
Gunathilleke’s knock included 4-fours and 2-sixes.
He got support from Pathum Nissanka who scored 37 from 23 balls, including five boundaries.
Dwayne Bravo 2 for 25 was the pick of the Windies bowlers.
Chasing 261 to win, the hosts were bowled out for 117 inside 19 overs. Obed McCoy, 23, made most runs for the Windies.
Wanindu Hasaranga and Lakshan Sandakan each took three wickets, while, Dushmantha Chameera bagged two.

Captain of the West Indies, Kieron Pollard, says the blame for the defeat should be laid squarely at the feet of the batsmen.
He says the bowlers did their job.
The third and deciding game is set for the same venue on Sunday and Pollard is backing his players to come away with the win.
