St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots men won the Inaugural 6IXTY cricket competition at Warner Park, yesterday.
Meanwhile Barbados Royals were crowned champions of the women’s division.
The Patriots secured their hold on the title after a 3-wicket win over the Trinbago Knight Riders.
Batting first, the Knight Riders made 84 for 6 off their 10 overs.
Tim Seifert made 37 and Andre Russell 22.
Dominic Drakes took two wickets for the Patriots.
In reply, St. Kitts and Nevis led by Evin Lewis 32 and Andre Fletcher 27 not out made 85 for 3.
Chris Gayle who was dropped twice in one innings made an unbeaten 15 to take his team over the line.
Meanwhile, batting first, the Royals women beat the Trinbago Knight Riders by 15-runs in their final.
Hayley Matthews made 15, Aaliyah Alleyne 23 and Chinelle Henry 15 to help Barbados to 65 for 6.
Chasing 66 to win, the Knight Riders made 50 for 6.
