Prime Minister of St.Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew is at an undisclosed medical facility overseas undergoing diagnostic tests and specialist assessments.
According to the cabinet secretariat, Drew fell ill over the weekend.
The government did not disclose the illness, the country or the medical institution where Drew is receiving treatment.
Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Geoffrey Hanley, is serving as acting prime minister.
He has sought to assure the public that government operations will continue semalessly during Drew’s absence.
