Principal of Flanker Primary and Junior High School in St. James, Rupert Shaw, says about 80 students have been absent from school since the State of Emergency was declared last week.

The school has 338 students enrolled.

Principal Shaw says the State of Emergency’s impact isn’t limited to students’ absence.

And Principal of Cornwall College, Lecia Allen, says the State of Emergency isn’t having a major impact on the school’s extra-curricular activities.
