The Tax Administration of Jamaica, TAJ in conjunction with the Major Organized Crime and Anti-Corruption Agency, MOCA, today resumed their hunt for tax evaders in Clarendon.

The latest joint operation began yesterday in St. Catherine.

TAJ Communication Officer, Leighton Beckles, says the operation was expanded to Clarendon today.

Reports are that following yesterday’s operation in St. Catherine, at least 17 tax delinquents cleared up their arrears on spot.

Down payments were made by several other delinquents who made arrangements to settle the rest of the debt at a later date.

Mr. Beckles says the current operation will end today but there are more to come.
