The Jamaica Tallawahs maintain their unbeaten status in the Caribbean T-20 Premier League, following their 47-runs win over Chris Gayle and the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots at Sabina Park, last night.

Batting first, the Tallawahs led by a half-century from Ross Taylor, made 178 for 4 off their 20 overs.

Taylor’s unbeaten 51 came off 35-balls and included 2-fours and 4-sixes.

Kennar Lewis made 49, while Glenn Phillips chipped in with 41.

Set 179 to win, the Patriots were restricted to 131 for 9 off their 20 overs.

Gayle 24 and Mohammad Mahmudullah 22 were the only batsmen to give the Tallawahs bowlers any trouble.
