The Jamaica Tallawahs moved to the top of the Caribbean T-20 Premier League Table following their 6-wicket win over the St. Lucia Stars at Sabina Park, last night.

Chasing 176 to win, the Tallawahs led by a half-century from Glenn Phillips of New Zealand, reached the Target with 2-balls to spare.

Phillips’ 58 came off 40-balls and included 2-fours and 6-sixes, while Rovman Powell hit an unbeaten 43 and Johnson Charles made 31.

Earlier, the Stars were bowled out for 175 off their 20-overs with Andre Fletcher top scoring with 43.

Oshane Thomas and Adam Zampa each picked up 3-wickets.

Final scores, St. Lucia Stars 175, Jamaica Tallawahs 176 for 4.

The Tallawahs next match will be against Chris Gayle and the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots this evening at 6, at the same venue.
