Tavares-Finson Sworn in as Senate President

Queen’s Counsel Tom Tavares Finson was officially sworn in this morning as President of the Senate in a ceremony at Gordon House.

In his first address as President, Senator Finson urged members to ensure that they everything they do is geared towards the betterment of the country.

Senator Finson also pledged to relax the rules governing the asking of questions by Opposition Senators.
