Education Minister, Ronald Thwaites, today issued a cease and desist order, to administrators at those secondary schools which have withheld registration packages for students who’ve not paid their fees in full.

Our news centre understands that Jose Marti and Jonathan Grant High Schools, are among those which have refused to hand over the packages until all fees are paid in full.

There’ve also been similar reports at schools based in Manchester, St. Ann and St. Thomas.

The Opposition Spokesman on Education, Senator Kamina Johnson Smith, has called on Minister Thwaites to intervene.
