Tourism Minister Edmund Bartlett says the country’s average occupancy level is only 20 per cent at this time.
Minister Bartlett says the sector is fighting to stay afloat.
But he says closing hotels, is not the answer.
The Tourism Minister says the sector is merely limping along.
Mr. Bartlett noted that tourism leaders have been pivoting because of frequent changes to Covid 19 protocols.
But the Tourism Minister says people are still travelling.
