Parliamentarians in the House of Representatives this afternoon paid tribute to the late, former Agriculture Minister, Roger Clarke.

Mr. Clarke, who was Member of Parliament for Westmoreland Central, died in Miami, Florida last month from a suspected heart attack.

Opposition Leader, Andrew Holness, recommended Mr. Clarke’s light hearted approach to life, to his colleagues.

Also contributing, Central Manchester MP and National Security Minister, Peter Bunting reasoned that Roger Clarke was not limited to humor only.

North Central St. Andrew Member of Parliament, Karl Samuda also weighed in. He described the late Agriculture Minister as a man for all seasons.

Mr. Clarke’s body is expected to arrive in the island tomorrow from the United States.

His official funeral will take place at the St George’s Anglican Church in Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland this Saturday.
