The leaders of the medical fraternity in Jamaica are this afternoon paying tribute to the late renowned and outstanding medical doctor, Anthony Vendryes.
Vice President of the Jamaica Medical Doctor’s Association, JMDA, Dr. Mindi Fitz-Henley, says Vendryes was a stalwart.

Medical Association of Jamaica, MAJ President, Dr. Clive Lai, is also hailing Dr. Vendryes as a man who was highly respected by his colleagues and patients.
For several decades, Vendryes promoted prevention as the key to health and wellness.
Dr. Vendryes passed away last night at his sister’s home in St. Andrew.
He’d been battling illness for several years.
He was 72.
He’s survived by his wife of over 50-years, Dorothy Vendryes.
