Two businessmen who operated a popular supermarket in Hanover have died from complications associated with Covid-19.

Dead are 36-year-old Xing Jian Huang and 40-year-old Ji’Shun Yu.

The men are from China.

Xing passed away earlier this week after he was admitted to the hospital. 

Ji’Shung succumbed a few days later at his home in western Jamaica.

Preliminary reports are the deceased men were not vaccinated.

Both businessmen are from Guangdong in China.

The men were proprietors of the Hopewell Mall Supermarket in Hanover.

It’s understood that a third businessman who has a stake in the Supermarket is in isolation. 

It’s suspected that he also contracted Covid-19.
