Two women have filed a constitutional claim in the Supreme Court challenging the curfew orders which were imposed under the Disaster Risk Management Act, DRMA.

The curfews were used as a major tool in the fight against the spread of the Covid-19 virus.

Attorney Clyde Williams is representing the two women who were charged with breaching the curfew orders.

He is now awaiting a date for a hearing.

The women took their cases to the Norman Manley Law School Legal Aid Clinic.
