The United States Ambassador to Jamaica, Luis Moreno, is scheduled to leave the post on June 30.  The announcement was made by Mr. Moreno at a farewell luncheon at the Pegasus

Hotel yesterday. The US Senate appointed Mr. Moreno Ambassador to Jamaica in November, 2014.  He’s a career member of the US Foreign Service.

Before serving as Jamaican Ambassador, Mr. Moreno served as the Deputy Chief of US Mission in Madrid, Spain.

Public Affairs Officer at the US Embassy, Joshua Polacheck is also scheduled to leave the post this month.  Successors have not yet been confirmed.
