The University of Technology says industrial action taken by three staff unions representing academic, administrative and technical staff did not disrupt the sitting of its Semester two examinations.

The staff unions have staged a sick out to seek improvements in their conditions at the institution.

Acting President of UTech, Ambassador Burchell Whiteman, says the institution will seek to pursue good and satisfactory outcomes to issues and concerns, in the best interest of the institution.

Ambassador Whiteman says UTech is committed to examining all the matters raised by the leadership of the unions.
