A noted lecturer at the Mona Campus of the University of the West Indies, Charmaine Henry, has died.

Miss Henry died this morning at the Nuttall Hospital, in St. Andrew, after a long illness.

She taught Communications and Public Relations at the Caribbean Institute of Media and Communication, CARIMAC.

Current and past students of CARIMAC have taken to social media, expressing shock and regret at her passing.

At the time of her passing, she was pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy.
