Councillor for the Seivwright Gardens Division in West Central St. Andrew, the JLP’s Delroy Williams, says the attack in Olympic Gardens on Monday which claimed the lives of three people has shocked the community.

Councillor Williams –who’s also the Mayor of Kingston — spoke with our news centre yesterday.

Mr. Williams says the community has been peaceful for several years.

A 10-month old baby was also shot and injured in the attack.

Mr. Williams says he visited the community yesterday morning to reassure residents. Residents say the once peaceful community is now a theatre for an internal war between a group of former friends who’re now sworn enemies.
