Firebrand Member of Parliament for South West St. Catherine, Everald Warmington, clashed with Deputy Speaker of the House, Heroy Clarke, during the question and answer segment following Culture Minister Olivia Grange’s presentation to parliament on Tuesday.

Warmington was incensed when the deputy speaker cut his microphone while he was framing a question on the culture minister’s statement.

For several minutes, Warmington chastised the deputy speaker off-mic, accusing him of disrespect.

Clarke said Warmington’s comments did not form a question to the minister on the statement, as per the Standing Orders.

Warmington attacked the deputy speaker, saying he was the one who was out of order, much to the amusement of MPs sitting on the Opposition benches.

When he was allowed to speak again, Warmington continued his rebuke of the deputy speaker.
