“Nigel, where are you?’
That was the chant from a group of dental assistants gathered outside the gates of the Ministry of Finance at National Heroes Circle this morning.

The dental nurses chanted and waved placards in a show of frustration with the Finance Minister, Dr. Nigel Clarke.
They say they have not been paid their retroactive salaries despite signing off on the government’s new wage and salary package under the compensation review exercise.
The relevant documents were signed in early February.
We spoke with Chief Union Delegate, Vivett Smith-Parchment.
Smith-Parchment says the delay is due to the inaction of the Finance Ministry.
Smith-Parchment says continued delay is unacceptable.
