Nationwide News understands that Education Minister Fayval Williams, will call for the resignation of the CEO of the Child Protection and Family Services Agency, CPFSA, Rosalee Gage-Grey.

The minster is expected to make the call in a statement to the House of Representatives.

It follows mounting pressure on Gage Grey regarding the CPFSA’s handling of its relationship with head of US charity, Embracing Orphans, Carl Robanske.

It’s understood Minister Williams has accepted the recommendation of the Office of the Children’s Advocate that disciplinary action be taken against the CPFSA CEO, who the report has accused of failing the duty of care she had to the wards of the State.

Additional allegations are coming to light regarding the scale of the inappropriate contact Carl Robanske had with wards of the Jamaican State.

The allegations are contained in a report by the Office of the Children’s Advocate, OCA, following a probe into the relationship between the CPFSA and Carl Robanske

Robanske continued to have access to children in State care for three years, even after the CPFSA became aware in 2018 of his suspension in the United States for having sexually inappropriate conversations with a minor.

A ward of the state, identified as Resident A, has alleged to OCA investigators that Robanske indicated he wanted to have a threesome with her and another resident of the Father’s House facility.

The ward alleges that Robanske, the self-styled man of God and head of the US charity, went into explicit details regarding his sexual intentions with the girls at the CPFSA facility.

Repeated efforts to reach Mrs Gage-Grey have been unsuccessful.
