Commuters Affected as Taxi Operators in St. Catherine Continue to Protest

For a third consecutive day, commuters in Spanish, St. Catherine, have faced great difficulty getting around as taxi operators in the area continue to strike, leaving many passengers stranded.

Since Monday, the angry taxi operators have been withdrawing their services over what they claim to be unfair points being lodged against their licenses and harassment from the Police and Transport Authority.

One taxi operator, Daniel Cunningham, spoke with Nationwide News.

Mr. Cunningham says all taxi operators in the area have to comply with the protest.
