News in brief

The youth arm of the Opposition JLP, Young Jamaica, says the current problems in the health sector highlight major failings in the leadership skills of portfolio Minister, Dr. Fenton Ferguson.

In a statement today Young Jamaica called on the Minister to get his act together and resolve the problems at the University Hospital of the West Indies and at Victoria Jubilee.

Young Jamaica says if Dr. Ferguson feels overwhelmed by the various issues affecting the health sector, he should either resign or ask for help.
