A 14-year-old boy was yesterday chopped to death by an 11-year-old colleague in Trelawny.
Information from the Jamaica Constabulary Force’s Corporate Communications Unit, CCU is that the incident happened in Wait-A-Bit in the parish in the afternoon.
It’s reported that the two friends had an altercation when the younger one used a machete to inflict a chop wound to the other boy’s neck.
The older boy died on the spot.
The 11-year-old escaped before a large crowd converged at the crime scene.
The police are investigating the incident.
