Jamaica College came from behind to get a 2-all draw with Wolmer’s to secure their spot at the top of Group E in the Manning Cup.

The teams played the final six minutes of their game that was abandoned due to lightning striking a number of placers on both teams recently.

Wolmers was leading the game 2-1 when it was abandoned on September 16.

The draw maintains JC’s two point lead at the top of the group with one round of fixtures to be played.

In the day’s other games, Kingston College beat Pembrook Hall 3- nil and St. George’s College beat Norman Manley 3-1.

Meanwhile, over in the DaCosta Cup, Denbin High School and Port Antonio High, kicked of the second round of DaCosta Cup action this afternoon with a nil-all draw in Clarendon.

Denbin are making their first appearance in the second round of the competition for the first time in 4 years.

Their assistant coach, Omar Walters, says his team has the quality to down Port Antonio high in the second leg to book their place in the quarter finals.

But the head coach of Port Antonio High, Marlon Hilton, says he believes the advantage remains with his team playing at home on the weekend.

In other early kick off Alstan High and Anchovy high drew nil-all.
