Thirteen people have died in floods in Italy.
The authorities say six months’ worth of rainfall fell in a day and a half causing more than 20 rivers to burst their banks.
More bodies were found on Thursday after almost every river flooded between Bologna and the north-east coast 115 kilometres or 70 miles away.
Flood waters have also forced more than 13,000 from their homes. Some 280 landslides have taken place.
Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s government has called a crisis meeting next Tuesday.
