Thirteen foreign nationals were arrested on Thursday, following a joint operation carried out by the Passport Immigration Citizenship Agency and the Counter Terrorism and Organised Crime Investigation Branch, in Rosedale Drive, Mandeville.
Head of the Manchester Police, Superintendent Shane McCalla, told Nationwide News that the foreign nationals, of Indian decent, were taken into custody for overstaying in the country.
They were picked up between 9 and 11AM at an apartment complex.
The superintendent says so far, investigations have revealed no link to human trafficking.
