The Jamaican dollar has now passed the 142-dollars to 1 to US mark.

It lost another 27 cents against the US, to open this morning selling at an average 142-dollars 23-cents.

The local currency also lost a-dollar 23-cents against the Canadian, to start today’s trading at 107-dollars 68-cents.

However, it strengthened by 53-cents against the British Pound, to sell today at an average 181-dollars 92-cents.
