Popular Jamaican-born, Texas based daytime news anchor Shatanya Clarke has died following her brain tumour diagnosis.
The news channel where she worked, KFDX delivered the sad news on April 14.
She passed away at her home earlier that day.
Shatanya chronicled her health journey via a series on YouTube titled “Shatanya’s Road to Recovery”.
At 25, she was diagnosed with a myxoid mesenchymal tumour after complaints of severe headaches.
Clarke underwent major brain surgery and chemotherapy for her tumour.
Her last upload to Youtube was made on July 13, 2021. She dedicated the video to Dr. Louis Provenza whom she said saved her life.
