The Police have taken three men into custody in connection with the murder of a Jamaica Defence Force, JDF, Private and another man over the weekend.
The men were arrested yesterday.
The Police say they are to be questioned with a view of being charged.
According to the Police, they’ve also seized a Glock 40 9-milli-metre pistol that’s believed to be connected with the two murders.
The two men were shot and killed in Spring Piece district, St. Ann on Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as 25-year-old Leighton Sinclair, a JDF Private, and 38-year- old Devoy Webb, a mechanic, both of Spring Piece district.
Reports from the Ocho Rios Police are, about 11:20 Saturday night, residents heard explosions and alerted them.
On arrival of the lawmen, both men were seen with gunshot wounds.
They were pronounced dead at hospital. No motive has been established for the killings.
