Jamaica has recorded 594 Covid-19 cases over the last 24 hours, according to the Health and Wellness Ministry’s latest update.
This brings the number of positive cases to 76,451.
In the update, 1,564 samples were tested.
This represents a positivity rate of 36.2 percent.
Meanwhile, 3 more people have died from Covid-19 complications.
The deaths occurred over a 24 hour period between September 10 and 11.
This brings the total number of deaths in the island to 1,734.
In the meantime, 185 recoveries were recorded.
This brings the total number of recoveries to 49, 746.
The number of hospitalizations now stands at 7 53.
155 are moderately ill, 117 are severely ill and 52 are considered critical.
