Jamaica recorded 73 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in the last 24 hour.
The latest batch of results were published on the Ministry of Health and Wellness’ web-site.
This marks another day of decline in positive reported cases.
The latest numbers bring the country’s confirmed cases tally to 6555.
Kingston and St Andrew accounted for 40 of the newest cases, followed by St James with 13 and St Catherine with 9.
Yesterday the country recorded a total 74 positive cases in the 24 hour batch, down from the previous 24 hour total of 238 positive cases.
Meanwhile, the latest round of confirmed cases range in ages from 3 to 87 years.
Four more deaths were recorded in the last 24 hour batch posted today by the Ministry.
The deceased are a 70 year old female from St Catherine, a 74 year old female also from St Catherine, a 75 year old male from St Elizabeth and a 69 year old male from Westmoreland.
One death is said to be under investigation.
The country’s death tally now stands at 111.
