85 of 118 nursing care homes inspected, were deemed satisfactory in regards to COVID-19 protocols.

And the Health Minister says a protocol is being developed to facilitate mass testing, when that becomes necessary.

The Opposition Spokesman on Health, Dr Morais Guy has been urging the government to do more random testing, claiming that doing otherwise is giving people false hope.

But National Security Minister and medical doctor, Dr Horace Chang told the House of Representatives this week that random mass testing would be a waste of resources.

He notes that the approach of contact tracing and strategically testing, has proven successful.
