The death toll after a massive flash flood and mudslide on the Nepal-Tibet border on Wednesday has surpassed 150

That’s according to the BBC.

It says at least 160 people have been confirmed dead.

Over 500 more, including at least 47 Americans, have been reported missing.

Dozens of police officers and army personnel are also missing, as well as power workers.

Search operations are underway on both sides of the border.

But the death toll is expected to rise significantly in the coming days.
