Caribbean Airlines, CAL, has announced that it will discontinue direct return service between Trinidad and Tobago and Barbados starting next week Wednesday.
The airline says flights BW-212 and BW-213 will be discontinued as part of ongoing schedule optimisation across its regional network.
Despite the change, CAL says passengers will continue to have options for travel between the two destinations through other flights in its existing schedule.
The airline previously announced other cuts to its regional network.
In May, CAL said it would discontinue services on routes involving Dominica and St. Kitts as well as flights between Ogle in Guyana and Suriname.
The regional airline also announced plans to reduce the frequency of flights to the French Caribbean islands of Martinique and Guadeloupe.
