St Elizabeth records 76% reduction in farm theft

Up to July 2026, the parish of St Elizabeth recorded a 76 percent reduction in farm theft.

That’s according to Commanding Officer of the St Elizabeth Police Division, Superintendent Coleridge Minto.

He was speaking at the official opening of the farm road project in Newcombe Valley, St Elizabeth, on Wednesday.

According to Superintendent Minto, an estimated $2 million in farm produce has been recovered between July 2025 and July 2026.
