At least 16 people have been killed and another 28 injured in a bus crash in eastern Egypt Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred on the road between Red Sea towns of Dahab and Nuweiba in the South Sinai governorate.
The area is a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors from around the world.
Reports in Egyptian and Jordanian media say Jordanian nationals were among those killed in the accident.
The Egyptian health ministry says as many as 20 ambulances were sent to the crash scene to provide first aid and evacuate the injured.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
