Team Jamaica is in the Turks and Caicos Islands, determined to extend its dominance of the Caribbean Golf Association Four-Ball Golf Championship.
Jamaica has won the Ambrose Gouthro Cup at every staging of the championship, including last year’s triumph at Cinnamon Hill Golf Course in Montego Bay, St. James.
The Jamaicans took to the Royal Turks and Caicos Golf Course on Wednesday for an intense practice round, as they fine-tune their game and get familiar with the challenging layout.
They tee off Thursday against more than 90 golfers from eight countries, including The Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, St. Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago, and hosts The Turks and Caicos Islands.
The seventh staging is being contested over three rounds and 54 holes, with individuals competing for trophies in male, female and age categories.
