Local Government Minister, Desmond McKenzie, is adamant that all infirmaries across the island have isolation facilities and protective gear for workers.

He was reacting to his Opposition counterpart, the People’s National Party’s Natalie Neita.

Minister Mckenzie is describing Ms Neita’s query as mischief-making.

He also says the government will provide resources for all infirmary staff members to be transported, in a bid to protect the residents at the institutions.

Meanwhile…Health and Wellness Minister, Dr Christopher Tufton, says the health teams have identified 12 staff members of a St Ann infirmary, who were close contacts of a worker who tested positive for COVID-19.

He says all residents of the infirmary were also tested for the coronavirus.
