Secretary of the Guyana Cricket Board, Anand Sanasie, is set to challenge Ricky Skerritt for president of Cricket West Indies.

Sanasie’s running mate is to be Calvin Hope, Vice president of Barbados Cricket Board.

Speaking on Nationwide’s calling in programme, From the Sidelines, on Monday, Vice President of Cricket West Indies Dr. Kishore Shallow said he would be very surprised if himself and President Ricky Skerritt are not re-elected.

The Skerritt/Shallow ticket won the right to lead West Indies Cricket in March 2019, with Skerritt beating incumbent Dave Cameron 8/4 in the race for president.

Cricket West Indies annual general meeting is set to be held on March 29.

Nominations close tomorrow.
