Police Commissioner, Major General Antony Anderson, will begin his first day on the job at 8:00 this morning.

The retired Chief of Defence Staff and former National Security Advisor is the third one-time member of the JDF to hold the post.

Speaking at Jamaica House yesterday, Prime Minister Andrew Holness expressed absolute confidence in Major-General Anderson.
