Formal charges have been laid against two women in connection with the killing of a 54-year-old man, in August Town, in St. Andrew on Monday.
20-year-old salesperson, Shana-loo Scotland, has been charged with murder and illegal possession of firearm.
While, 26-year-old bartender Denisha Smith, otherwise called ‘Den Den’, has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
The deceased, Trevor Gray — a construction worker — was attacked by a group of gun women early Monday morning.
Investigators suspect a few days before he was murdered, Mr. Gray and another man had an altercation with a member of a female group in August Town.
Allegations are that Gray was lured by the women to visit August Town in a purported attempt to make peace.
But upon arrival, he was attacked and shot dead.
Further allegations are that Shana-loo Scotland hid at the back of the house which Mr. Gray was called to.
She allegedly opened fire on him with a 9-millimeter pistol.
Gray was carried to the University Hospital of the West Indies where he was pronounced dead.
