A bomb scare forced the evacuation of the Winchester Business Centre in Half-Way Tree, St. Andrew, this morning.

The police say shortly after 9am, a call was made to the offices of the City of Kingston Credit Union, stating that a bomb had been placed inside the building.

A policeman attached to the Half Way Tree Police Station says the threat turned out to be a hoax.
