The Meteorological Service of Jamaica  is warning the island to brace for severe drought conditions across most of the island.

Head of the MET Office, Evon Thompson, says the entire island is seeing reduced rainfall.
He was speaking during a press briefing this morning.

Mr. Thompson made it’s clear that this situation is not projected to improve over the next three months.

He says severe drying will continue over most of the island with the exception of the most westerly Parishes.
