Opposition Spokesman on National Security Peter Bunting, is calling for an update from Portfolio Minister Robert Montague about the administration’s plan to build a modern maximum security prison.

Mr. Bunting says the update is important, in light of the then opposition’s rejection of a proposal by the United Kingdom to contribute £25-million toward the construction of such a facility.

He says that the two current facilities are outdated and prone to natural disasters, as well as in violation of two United Nation’s articles on human rights.
