The Bustamante High School family in Clarendon is mourning last night’s murder of 41 year old teacher, Enoch Bailey,
Mr. Bailey taught electrical engineering at the school.
He was reportedly shot and killed by gunmen, outside his home in May Pen in the parish.
Its reported that Mr. Bailey was shot about 10:35pm, shortly after exiting his car.
The Dean of Discipline at the school, Wayne Evans says Mr. Bailey was instrumental to the Industrial Arts department.
Mr. Evans says students and teachers have been left distraught by the incident and are undergoing grief counselling.
He says Mr. Bailey was a role model to the school’s young men.
Meanwhile, the Principal of Bustamante High, Yvonne Calder, says the school’s exam schedule has been disrupted by news of Mr. Bailey’s death.
